Day 1
You are welcomed at Port Vila International Airport by local transfer operator. Transferred in a small and personal air conditioned bus to Iririki Island Resort mainland wharf to catch the resort ferry to Iririki Island Resort Snorkelers Cove.
Today you are free to relax and find your bearings in the small friendly multicultural town of Port Vila dining under the stars in any of the waterside restaurants.
Day 2
Our bus will pick you up to drive you to the domestic airport for your 45 minute flight to Tanna Island.
Tip: Sit on the left side of the plane for wonderful views of Erromango Island and Tanna Island on your way.
In Tanna, you are greeted by Sam, Phillip or Brian, who will take you on a short 10 minute 4WD drive to the seaside Tanna Evergreen Resort.
After a hearty island lunch of freshly caught fish, lobster or local organic beef and vegetables, you have time to relax before your first 4WD safari across the jungle, coffee plantations, mountain range and local villages of Tanna.
Three and a half hours later, you will find yourself standing on top of Tanna's live volcano; peering into Mt. Yasur's magna vents seeing 3,000°C magna propelled 300 metres above you; an unparalleled life moving experience.
On your way home, you will pass Tanna's dimly lit kava bars where the local men are gathered to close off their day.
Tanna Evergreen's restaurant staff will be waiting for your return.
Day 3
Wake up to the morning sun, filtering through your handcrafted bungalow, perched on the coral bluff. Toasted wood fired bread, Tanna's very own coffee, and breakfast await you in the resort's new restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
This morning, your safari will take you to Ipai Custom Village where you will learn how to prepare traditional island food, followed by food sampling, and a visit to the village's tropical gardens, terminating with traditional dancing with lots of shy and friendly villagers.
Returning to the Resort for lunch. Your afternoon is free for you to explore your local surrounds, snorkel the pristine coral reef (up to 15 metres of cascading coral depth, 10km in length). Once you have exhausted your senses, you are invited to join the other global travellers at the bar enjoying another spectacular sunset over the distant horizon.
Day 4
This morning, you are off to see Tanna's magnificent 40 metre waterfall deep in the jungle and swim amongst it's many cool rock pools followed by a picnic lunch then an exploratory drive along the island's rugged East Coast, witnessing the ancient volcanic black sand beaches that nature's brute forces have formed over centuries.
Returning to the resort for a well deserved swim or snorkel, the rest of the afternoon is for your rest and leisure.
Day 5
After breakfast, you have to say goodbye to your new-found Tanna friends and board your flight to Port Vila (sit on the right side of the plane for best views).
At Port Vila, our bus team will be there to greet you and drive you to Iririki Island Resort Wharf for the short boat ride to Snorkelers Cove, where you can relax at the resort or enjoy Port Vila further.
Day 6
Today, the Coongoola Cruise bus will pick you up from Kaiviti Motel at 8:00am to take you on a 35 minute drive past Mele Cascades and Klems Hill Lookout, terminating at the beautiful and serene Havannah Harbour to board the 74' sailing ketch.
Day 7
Our bus team will regrettably pick you up from Iririki Island Resort mainland wharf for your last trip to the International airport.
Here we must say "Bon Voyage" and hope to see you back soon in our land of happiness.

Disclaimer
Whilst all attempts are made by Vanuatu Hotels to ensure that bookings are communicated, well understood and confirmed in writing with local bungalows and transport operators, we cannot always guarantee that there may not be on occasions, some disruptions to your plans.
This may be due to inclement weather, delayed flights, damage to infrastructure ie., phone lines down, bridges, roads flooded etc., communication misunderstandings between other party operators (e.g., transport hired by bungalow for airport pick ups), cultural or religious events (that local people place a high priority to).
These and other unknowns can affect the most carefully planned itineraries.
When travelling to the outer islands, we advise to always leave a little "loose time" and patience in your planning.
Melanesia does not place a high priority on time and meeting deadlines. So don't set yourself up to be stressed by expecting everything to run like a Swiss clock, things rarely do, when travelling in the South Pacific.
