Vanuatu Accommodation Seachange Lodge, Port Vila, Efate Island Sustainability

Wendy and Richard Tendys, Owners/Managers

Experience with Wendy and Richard, the exhilarating pleasure of doing very little. Actually a lot of planning has gone into ensuring you are tempted to experience Vanuatu at your own pace.

Richard and Wendy have lived in New Zealand, Australia, Mauritius, Europe and Hong Kong.

Upon retirement from teaching, they visited and fell in love with Vanuatu. Their one desire is to give visitors the opportunity to succumb to the delights of Vanuatu, just as they did.

10% of profits from Seachange Lodge is used to assist local communities where little or no government assistance is available.

I Like the fact Rick & Wendy help support children through high school & that some of the profits go towards this. It swayed my opinion when choosing the accomodation.

The Seachange Lodge employees all local staff and they run a program for sponsoring kids to high school which is a great idea in Vanutau as the price of high school education is high compared to peoples wages.
