The bungalows are named after the spectacular ocean sunrises viewed from the elevated cliff location.
Breathing in pure forest air overlooking the South Pacific Ocean on one side, or the deep jungle galleys below on the other is a real pleasure. The native plant gardens surrounding each of Sunrise Bungalows are a delight to wake up to on your way to the lovingly hand crafted restaurant.
A track will take you to the beach below where the water is warm from volcanic hot springs. Another track will take you to the villages and a further 15 minutes walk to a treehouse.
The sheer drop offs provide a dramatic beauty; however, may be a danger for young children, so parental supervision is essential.
Sunrise Bungalows has a small diesel generator which is turned on at night providing power.
As for all native bungalows, comfort is basic, but experience is magic!

Check-in and check-out are in accordance to flight arrivals and departures of the day.
Children policy:
Children of all ages are welcomed. However, travelling with infants under 2 years old to remote islands is not recommended.

As bungalows are set close to sheer cliff drop offs, it is strongly advised that travellers with young children may need to consider alternative accommodation as the location demands extremely close parental supervision.
- 4 days prior to arrival: 50% of booked accommodation will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 2 days prior to arrival: 100% of booked accommodation will be charged as a cancellation fee.
