We have created this exclusive Epi Island "Swim with a Dugong" safari package based on numerous visits to Epi Island and our client comments.

This package is ideal for families as well as couples on a romantic holiday.  Expect great food, experiences, and lots of outdoor fun.

Your package includes the following:

- Swimming with the resident Dugong if he's in Lamen Bay, Epi Island
- 4WD Coastal Safari along deserted coral beaches and jungle
- See plantation ruins from past colonial days
- Boat ride to historical Lamen Island
- Return flights to Epi Island
- 4 nights at Iririki Island Resort Snorkelers Cove 
- 2 nights at Epi Paradise Sunset Bungalows 
- All airport transfers
- Full day sail and snorkel of Efate's islands and coral coast 

This Package Does Not Include:

- Domestic airport departure tax of 400 vatu per person, paid cash at the airport (ex Port Vila, Tanna, Santo.  All other airports 250 vatu per person).
- Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner unless specified in the itinerary
- Other tours offered by the Resort undertaken by the traveller
- Expenses of a personal nature
- Travel Insurance.  We strongly encourage all travellers to have travel insurance.  We suggest World Nomads Travel Insurance

Day 1
You are welcomed at Port Vila International Airport with leis and chilled scented face towels and driven in a small and personal, air conditioned bus to the Iririki Island Wharf for your ferry to this privately owned Island. 

Today you are free to relax and find your bearings in the small friendly multicultural town of Port Vila dining under the stars in any of the waterside restaurants.

Day 2
Today, the "Golden Wing" bus will pick you up from Iririki Island Resort Mainland Wharf at 8:10am to take you on a 30 minute drive past Mele Cascades and Klems Hill Lookout, terminating at the beautiful and serene Havannah Harbour to board the "Golden Wing" 42 foot catamaran.

Sailing a full day on the crystal clear waters, mooring at uninhabited Hat Island, Paul's, Rock and the "Survivor" TV series beach. Snorkel or dive to your heart's content in sublime fish filled underwater gardens (diving equipment is supplied), morning tea and lunch is served aboard the boat. Returning late afternoon and transferred to your Resort.

Day 3
Our bus will pick you up from the Iririki Island Resort Mainland Wharf to drive you to the domestic airport for your 25 minute flight to Epi Island.

Following the Epi Island west coast, you will have great aerial views of Lamen Island and the coral shelf surrounding the bay.

Tip: sit on the right side of the plane flying to Epi Island.

You will be greeted at the airport by Tasso or his family; a 15 minute walk along the beach passing the village will bring you to Paradise Sunset Bungalows facing the ocean due west. The remaining daylight hours can be spent swimming with the dugong or discovering your tropical surrounds.

Day 4
After breakfast, you are invited to a 15 minute motor boat ride to neighbouring Lamen Island where you will discover the old civilisation of this proud people. There are no vehicles here, only stone hedged roads sheltered under large trees.

Return to Paradise Sunset Bungalows for Lunch and an afternoon of free leisure time.

Day 5
Today you will go on a delightful fun filled 4WD safari hugging the west coast of Epi Island. Stopping wherever you wish to take photos of the villages, children playing, markets, panoramic lookouts and beaches, terminating at Valesdir airport to catch your 12 noon plane to Port Vila.

On arrival in Port Vila, you will be met by our bus team to take you to the Iririki Island Resort Mainland Wharf.  The afternoon is yours to shop or simply indulge by the pool.

Day 6
Today your bus will be waiting to take you on a comprehensive 2 1/2 hour tour of Port Vila Highlights and its surroundings.

A great way to round off your week in Vanuatu.  Dropping you off at the Iririki Island Resort Mainland Wharf for your last night in Port Vila.

Day 7
Today is your last day in Vanuatu, depending on your international flight departure time, you may have time to squeeze another of Port Vila's many tours, have a swim, sail or some last minute shopping.
